A year is simply a collection of 365 days; 365 mornings you will wake up to. So if you are going to make anything out of it, then you must devise a way to make something out of each day, each morning you wake.

The secret to achieving the goals you set for a new year lies in how you decide to make use of each of its 365 days.

Your goals, dreams, resolutions and all, for the year are mere formalities if you do not get up each morning and do something about them, no matter how little. Each day counts.

One day you’ll wake up and realise it is December 31, 2017, and you will wonder where on earth the year went to.

Every day counts. Every morning is important. Stop thinking about your goals and dreams in terms of a whole year, or 5 or 10 years, and start thinking about them in terms of every single day. That is the only way you can get to them.

Don’t ignore the day you have woken up to, while dreaming of the life you wish for. It will remain only a dream as long as you forget each day you already have matters.

Little drops of water, they say, make a mighty ocean. Little steps taken each day, makes a year’s dream achievable.
